A Closer Look Into The SF90 SPIDER
Interior
The “eyes on the road, h ands on the steering wheel” philosophy which was derived from Ferrari’s motorsports experience drove the ergonomics and styling of the interior and has produced an innovative new HMI concept . The pilot's connection to the machine begins with the new steering wheel featuring a touchpad that allows drivers to control v irtu ally every aspect of the car without moving their hands from the wheel. Their eyes then peer on the center instrument cluster which is now entirely digital with a 16” curved HD screen and can be fully configured and controlled using the controls on the steering wheel. On the center tunnel, the automatic gearbox controls are now actioned by a grill - style feature that references Ferrari’s iconic manual gearshift gateExterior
The primary goal for the exterior design of the SF90 Spider was to remain faithful to the SF90’s signature styling. As such, meticulous effort was put into crafting the tonneau area to achieve seamless integration with the rest of the car. This was gracefully achieved by the Ferrari Styling center while also retaining visibility to the V8 through the engine bay cover, despite the inclusion of the RHT stowage. The V8 engine thus remains the star of the show and very much on display whether the top is up or downPerformance
The SF90 Spider has plug - in hybrid architecture in which the internal combustion engine is integrated with two electric motors at the front and one at the rear. The synergy between the Twin - Turbo V8 engine and the electric motors unleashes a maximum of 1,000 cv and puts the SF90 Spider not only at the top of its category but also the marques range.
